Farhan’s Jungle Birthday Party

We’ve never thrown a party for any of my kids’ birthday. But this time we did. We decided to throw a birthday party in only 2 weeks away before the d-day!

Farhan loves animal soooo much! So, it’s pretty easy to find a theme for the party.. Jungle birthday party! I searched online to find such inspiration. We tried to do most of the things by ourselves.

For the venue, we decided to have it in our house. Since it’s a jungle themed party, we used our backyard (it’s not actually at the back of our house, more like at the side of our house hehe!).

Since it was only two weeks away, I had to work really really fast! I bought a party package design from an etsy shop. It includes the banner, bottle labels, food labels, thank you card, animal pattern (that I later used for the party hat, cutlery ring, and goodie bag tape), and sooo many more. I got in in the form of digital file and all I have to do is to print all those things out and use it.

We rented the tent and the kids’ chairs. We also hired someone to do the balloon decoration. I only chose what colors to use. I used burlap, gunny rope, and the printed things that I bought to decorate the dessert table.

I decided to make the party hat myself. I even made the tiny party hats for the babies too! The kids looked so happy wearing it, and that makes me even more happier. Haha!

For the goodie bag, I used brown paper bag and emblished it with a stripe of patterned paper, gunny rope, and a thank you card. I chose light snacks for the goodie bag and insert 3 animal finger puppets in it too. I know kids will open the goodie bag right away after I gave it to them, so I thought, animal finger puppets will be perfect!

I hope this post will also inspire mommies out there to DIY a kid’s birthday party. Have fun Mommies! :)
